Amanda Harbrow – Harris FdSc (dist), RDH, CertHE (Open)

Amanda graduated in 2014 from the  University of Essex with a Distinction in Oral Health Sciences.  Having previously worked as a Dental Nurse she wanted to further her clinical skills and patient management into Dental Hygiene.

She has excelled in her career by winning the National Hygienist of the Year award in 2019 and coming in second place in 2021. Since this time she’s gone from strength to strength by becoming a clinical educator for both the University of Essex and a very prestigious dental hygiene and therapy training group working with the cream of the crop of her profession.

Amanda also has published papers in circulation and regularly does presentations to her peers on how to undertake dental procedures and how to use the latest equipment.  She is always up to date with her continuing professional development and strives to always know the latest studies and techniques.

Sustainability is Amanda’s biggest passion. She has undertaken listing the practice as a terracycle centre in order for patients and the general public to be able to recycle their used dental products.
